You’re Not a Good Person

You’re not a good person. If you’ve lied you’re a liar. If you’ve stolen you’re a thief. If you’ve looked on a married person with lust you’re an adulterer. If you’ve hated someone in your heart you’re a murderer. Chances are you’re also greedy, an idolater, and a blasphemer.

You think a good God wouldn’t send a person like you to hell? Because you’re not as bad as some? So you’re also self-righteous? You’re a sinner. Could a Holy God do anything but send you to hell? The answer is no.

Unless that Holy God were also a loving God. A loving God could pay the price for your sin Himself. That’s what God has done through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. God’s not hateful. He loves you.

Until you recognize you’re a sinner in need of salvation you’ll never realize God loves you. Until you realize He loves you; you can’t love Him.

You’re not a good person. You’re a valuable and loved person. God couldn’t have paid a higher price for you. He loves you. In Jesus Christ you have the ability to be the person God created you to be. To be in a relationship with Him.

Admit you’re a sinner. Call out to God for salvation in the name of Jesus Christ. Be born again today.

I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.(Luke 5:32 KJV)
