How I Know I’m a Christian

I heard and was convicted by the gospel.
I confessed Jesus Christ as my Lord.
I believed in my heart God raised Him from the dead.
I repented of my sins.
The Holy Spirit is part of my life.
I’m in love with Jesus, His Word, and His people.
Sin is no longer simple.
I struggle between the Spirit and the flesh.
God convicts me when I sin.
I’m looking forward to seeing Jesus face to face.
I’m waiting for His return.
I’ve been given spiritual gifts.
I’m obeying Jesus commands.
God draws me back when I stray.

If you were to describe why you’re a Christian and it looks like this…
I said a prayer.
I joined a church.
I believe in God.
I was baptized.
Then you’re lost.

If you’re not in a real tangible relationship with Jesus Christ you’ll go to Hell for all of eternity.
I’m not being a jerk. You can be saved.

Don’t leave eternity to an, “I hope so.” Until you know without a doubt the Holy Spirit lives in you, don’t rest. Today’s the day of salvation. The things I listed above aren’t unique to me. They’re Biblical truths for every believer.

Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?
(2 Corithians 13:5)
