To witness or not to witness that is the question? It’s a worldly question. But a question none the less. There are so many silent believers.
We know we’re to bring our flesh into submission. We know we’re to test every spirit. But we continue to allow the lie, that it’s not our responsibility to spread the gospel, to linger in our hearts and minds. Our excuses are week and sinful.
We blame our lack of talent but this rejects the gospels power. We blame our fear but this rejects the very Spirit God has given us. Not until we admit it’s a lack of faith that causes us to fail to share Chrsit will we ever begin.
God help us understand the need of our neighbors. Their needs come in various shapes and degrees but all their needs boil down to one truth. They need Jesus. They need someone to tell them about Jesus. Will it be you? Will you continue to make excuses? If Jesus asked the question, “Believest thou this?”, then it’s a good question to ask.
I’m sick of the lie that we’re to do nothing and wait for God to save people. When you hear of God saving a person please take note of the fact that someone was sharing the gospel with them. Will it be you? Do you have to be on a mission trip to find it necessary? What about the people God places in your life everyday? Do their souls count?
25 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: 26 And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this? (John 11:25-26)
